2025 Patriot All-America Players - Men's Division

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Thomas F. Roush, M.D., and Family Vanderbilt Men’s Golf Head Coach Scott Limbaugh announced the addition of Carlos Astiazaran, who transfers to the Commodores after a two-year stint at Pacific.

Astiazaran comes to Vandy after a record-setting sophomore campaign at Pacific. He was named the 2024-25 West Coast Conference Co-Player of the Year, posting a scoring average of 69.51 to set Pacific’s record for lowest scoring average in a single season. Astiazaran’s 69.51 mark was also the lowest scoring average among qualified WCC golfers this past season. He ranked as an individual No. 81 nationally, according to SCOREBOARD, and 267th in the World Amateur Golf Rankings.
