FRESHMAN (2017-18): 2018 Big Ten Freshman of the Year, becoming the first Spartan to win the award since Ryan Brehm in 2005 ... In his first year as a Spartan, Piot competed in all 12 tournaments … Recorded four top-20 finishes and one top-10 finish while ending the season with a 73.47 stroke average, which ranked third on the team … Helped lead the Spartans to a third place finish at the Seahawk Intercollegiate with a 54-hole score of 217 (71-71-75), giving him his best individual finish of the year - sixth … Had his best 54-hole performance of the season at the Quail Valley Intercollegiate tournament where he posted a 211 (70-70-71) … Shot a season low 67 in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament.
