As a student at Centennial High School, LCpl. Roberts was active in wrestling and football.  He graduated in 2006 and joined the Marine Corps the following August.  After boot camp, LCpl. LCpl. Roberts enjoyed the outdoors, grilling out on the weekends and college football. “Cody embodied the true spirit of the Marine Corps, believing entirely in his God, Family, and Country; the three values he lived and died for,” his wife said.  “He was an amazing Marine, Husband, and Father and Hero. He made the ultimate sacrifice on the streets of a city in Afghanistan so his son would never have to be afraid for his life or ours.”
