He was 21 years old.

A graduate from New City High School, Kalamazoo, Michigan, Jordan Goode joined the Army in 2004. He had a zest for life and loved anything that involved risk-taking. Hip-hop music and drawing were also two of his favorite passions. He was a fun-loving man, who could make the most of a bad situation with his laugh and could light up a room with his smile. CPL Goode was dedicated to his career. He made it a point to be a unique individual, who spoke his mind. He portrayed a tough exterior but had a heart of gold. “He was a great kid and he loved his family,” his mother said.  “He believed in what he was doing, and that he was doing the right thing.”

CPL Goode is survived by his wife and daughter, both are Folds of Honor scholarship recipients.
