Capt. DiCenzo of Plymouth, New Hampshire was well known throughout his town as “an energetic bundle of energy”. He graduated from high school in 1995 and began his Army career at West Point.
DiCenzo was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 6th Infantry, 2nd Brigade, 1st Armored Division out of Baumholder, Germany. He was killed in action on May 25, 2006 when an improvised explosive device detonated near his Humvee during combat operations in Baghdad.
He left behind a young son and wife along with his parents and a town that loved him.
