Led the Rams in scoring average this season, averaging 71.67 strokes in 33 rounds played, an improvement of almost four strokes around over his freshman year, and was named All-Mountain West and team co-MVP this season... Posted a pair of top-five and three top-10 finishes on the year, highlighted by a fourth in the Ram Masters Invitational and a tie for fifth at the recent Mountain West Championship... Had 14 rounds of par or better, with a career-best 6-under 66 in the first round of the MW event, and placed in the top 26 in eight of 10 tournaments played this season... Started the season with a tie for 10th at the Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational with a career under-par 54-hole best of 5-under, which included a then career-best 4-under 67 in the second round... The 206 at the Ram Masters was a career-best total for 54 holes... Had a pair of under-par rounds at the NCAA Kissimmee Regional, shooting a 1-under 71 in the opening round and a 2-under 70 in the final 18, finishing at even-par 216... Having started the year not ranked in the World Amateur Golf Rankings, jumped all the way to 290th in the world from his play this year... Also is currently sixth on CSU’s single-season chart with his 71.63 scoring average... Qualified for the 2018 US Amateur at Pebble Beach...
