  • Rated the No. 1 college golfer in the country heading into the 2017-18 by Golfweek.com

  • Preseason first team All-American (Golfweek.com)

  • Found his first victory of the season at the first tournament, the Shoal Creek Intercollegiate after posting a fall-best single round 66 score. This victory marked his 8th individual title, becoming the most victories in school history

  • Carded a fall-best single round 66 again at the FAMC Intercollegiate for a 1st place finish, the ninth of his career.


Summer 2017

  • Made his PGA Tour debut at the FedEx St. Jude Classic and placed fourth, the highest amateur finisher at the FedEx St. Jude since 1965 and has the best amateur finish on the PGA Tour in 2017

  • Also competed in the PGA Tour's Greenbrier Classic as the winner to the Fred Haskins Award

  • Won the prestigious Sunnehanna Amateur with a four-round total of 13 under (68-69-65-65--267)

  • Qualified for the U.S. Amateur and defeated world No. 1 Joaquin Niemann

  • Became the first Rebel to play in the Walker Cup, representing the United States.


2016-17 (Sophomore)

  • Captured the NCAA Arnold Palmer Individual National Championship with a 72-hole total of 11 under (66-71-69-71--277), becoming the first Rebel golfer to win a national title

  • Earned the Fred Haskins Award, given to the most outstanding men's collegiate golfer, to become the first Ole Miss golfer to win the award

  • Led the nation in stroke average at 69.57, the lowest single-season stroke average in school history, and collected five individual wins throughout the season

  • Set single-season school records for rounds in the 60's (23), rounds under par (31), lowest three-round score (198), top-five finishes (10) and top-10 finishes (11)

  • Named to the 2017 All-Nicklaus Team and earned PING First Team All-American honors by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA)

  • First Team All-SEC and PING Southeast All-Region team

  • Earned medalist honors at the AutoTrader.com Collegiate Classic, where he set the school record for lowest tournament score at 68-64-66—198. His second-round score of 8-under 64 and tournament score of 198 set the tournament record for lowest tournament score and lowest round of 18 score

  • Earned co-medalist honors at the Franklin American Mortgage Company Intercollegiate at the Grove with a score of 71-69-71-211 to help Ole Miss earn their first tournament win

  • Won at the Warrior Princeville Makai Intercollegiate with a score of 71-65-67—203 to help Ole Miss earn their third victory.


2015-16 (Freshman)

  • Competed in all 11 tournaments, leading the Rebels with a 72.24 stroke average

  • Was the Rebels' top finisher in six tournaments while posting six finishes inside the top-20

  • Earned his first career title at the FAU Slomin Autism Invite with a career-low score of 205

  • Fired a career-low round score of 67 in the second round of the Erin Hills Intercollegiate

  • Earned his first top-10 at the Erin Hills Intercollegiate, with a score of 72-67-76--215 to finish T8

  • Named First-Team Rolex Junior All-American by the Junior Golf Association
