Practice rounds at The Wigwam will be available to contestants beginning at 12:00 noon Sunday afternoon, December 25th. Prior to this time, starting times may be made through The Patriot All-America Tournament Committee on a space available basis by calling (602) 944-3035.
Play will commence each morning of the Invitational after 9:30am. Starting times and pairings for the first round will be posted at registration, on the web site, and in the golf shop beginning on Sunday, December 25th. Starting times and pairings for rounds #2 and #3 will be available after the completion of the previous round, and will be posted at the golf shop, scoreboard, and each evening on the Invitational web site. Play will be in groups of three from both #1 & #10 tees.
All entrants shall receive a commemorative token. Award recognition will be provided to the top 10 finishing participants including ties.
The use of motorized carts of any kind is not permitted.
Caddies are mandatory for this event. Contestants must either employ their own caddie or use a Patriot All-America Invitational caddie provided by The First Tee of Phoenix and the Tournament Committee. A daily gratuity will be expected for use of a Patriot All-America Invitational caddie. Players who wish to provide their own caddie must indicate so on their entry form or by contacting the Tournament Committee prior to December 23, 2011. A player not providing advance notice will be subject to a $50 gratuity fee to replace the assigned Patriot All-America Invitational caddie.
Complimentary use of all practice facilities will be available to all contestants beginning at 12:00 noon on Sunday, December 25 based upon weather considerations through the completion of the Invitational. Contestants must check in with the Golf Shop prior to using facilities. The range will close at dusk.
The Patriot All-America Invitational dress code will be strictly enforced during the week. Suitable attire must be worn at all times. Contestants are required to wear slacks during all rounds, including practice and Am/Am, event. Caddies are expected to wear suitable attire during event. No jeans, running suits, cargo pants, tank tops or T-shirts of any kind will be allowed. Caps and visors must not be worn inside the clubhouse. Sandal type golf shoes are not permitted. Failure to adhere to the dress code may result in withdrawal from the Invitational.
Unacceptable conduct or behavior during the Invitational week will not be tolerated and may be grounds for immediate disqualification, at any time. This applies to the golf course, clubhouse, hotel and all functions. The Tournament Committee shall be the sole judge in determining unbecoming conduct or behavior and any appropriate penalty or sanction.
As a condition of the Invitational, the use of noise-making electronic devices, including cellular telephones, pagers, radios, walkmans, MP3 players, iPods, and any other similar noisemaking devices will be prohibited during play. Clarifications and special requests for exemption must be directed to the Tournament Committee in advance.
Distance-Measuring Devices that measure distance only may be used during the Invitational. A player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only. If during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance measuring device that is designed to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g., gradient, wind speed, temperature, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 14-3, for which the penalty is disqualification, regardless of whether any such additional function is actually used.
